This kind of recipe will like all the member of the family. This pork BBQ baby back ribs recipe is perfectly seasoned, boiled until tender and then grill with your favorite own BBQ sauce. To make this recipe more special, make sure you include the different necessary seasonings, especially the brown sugar and garlic powder.
Some choose to add pineapple juice to make the sauce thicker, but it all depend on your final touches to make the meat tender and flavorful.
Here is the procedure for Pork Barbeque Baby Back Ribs:
- 1- 2 kilo baby back ribs
- ½ cup of brown sugar
- 2 pieces big onion ( chopped)
- 2 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 cup of barbeque sauce
- 1 tablespoon of whole pepper
- 3 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 4 cups of water
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 2 tablespoon flour (dissolve in water)
- Salt and pepper to taste
In a large casserole, place the ribs and add the right amount of water. Next is to season with the garlic powder, barbeque sauce, sugar, whole pepper, vinegar and brown sugar.
Afterwards, mix all the added ingredients with the ribs evenly to allow the meat in absorbing the flavor. In a medium heat fire, let simmer for about 1-1 ½ hours or until the ribs become tender.
Add more water if necessary and make sure to cover the casserole to maintain the heat.
When the ribs are tender, set them aside from the final step and that is the grilling. Be sure to grill the ribs in medium fire and through slow cooking to keep the meat tender and juicy.
For the sauce, sauté a few amount of garlic and onion until golden brown. Strain the residue mixture and include it, then stir gently. Add the right amount of pepper and salt if necessary, and then bring to boil.
Add the dissolved flour and stir well until the mixture becomes sticky before turning off the stove.
When ready, transfer the ribs on a platter and top the sauce for the final serving!
