Cheesy and Beefy Lasagna

The delicious lasagna recipe I will share is going to satisfy your crave because it has layers of pastas, beefy meat sauce, white sauce and grated yummy cheese. This pasta dish has truly becoming popular all over the world, especially meeting taste buds of millions of Filipinos too. Surely, there are many versions of making lasagna and his lasagna recipe is suited to all especially to your loved ones.

Here is the Procedure for the Cheesy and Beefy Lasagna

Ingredients:

For the meat sauce preparation:

  • 1 kilo lean ground  beef
  • 1 head garlic (peeled and minced)
  • 1 large white onion (peeled and chopped finely)
  • 4 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar (optional)
  • 2 cups of water
  • 5 cups of tomato sauce (I prefer Del Monte brand)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the white sauce preparation:

  • ½ butter milk
  • 1 box of cheese (your desired brand)
  • 1 big can cream of mushroom
  • 2 cans of all purpose cream (preferable Nestle brand)
  • 1 cup of grated cheese

For the pasta preparation:

  • 1 liter of water
  • 4 tablespoon of cooking oil
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 1 box of double lasagna noodles (extra wide size)

 

Procedure:

In a casserole, boil 1 liter of water with the cooking oil and salt. Put the pasta to cook until it tender and avoid overcooking just the exact firmness. Afterwards, prepare a strainer to remove the water and set aside.

In a medium casserole, sauté the garlic and onion using the buttermilk until it golden brown, then add the ground beef and gently mixing well until becoming tender.

Include the soy sauce, tomato sauce, sugar, salt and pepper to complete taste, and then bring to boil. Let simmer for about 5-7 minutes and then mix gradually.

 

Cooking the white sauce:

In a saucepan, put a small about of buttermilk then let melt and add the grated cheese. Stir well until the cheese melted perfectly. Next is to add the cream of mushroom soup and stir carefully. Let the mixture boil for about 3-5 minutes, and finally add the all-purpose cream. Make sure the white sauce thickens while mixing and do not overcook.

Next is to arrange the pasta in Pyrex dish, pour the beefy sauce, followed with the white sauce and grated cheese. Repeat the layering procedure until you complete the entire dish.

Lastly, top the remaining grated cheese to make it yummier.

Final cooking procedure:

Pre-heat the oven to 320 degree for at least 5 minutes before you insert the Pyrex and bake the lasagna for about 20 minutes or until you start noticing the top is gently burning.

When ready, remove the dish inside the oven to enjoy your Cheesy and Beefy Lasagna.

 

Reminder:

The Pyrex is extremely hot and so you need to be careful, especially if you have kids.
