For many crab lovers out there nowadays, most of them are beginning to enjoy those spicy recipes while loving their favorite seafood. Of course, there are actually countless of recipes and menus that feature crabs as the main ingredient, which are easily accessible offline and online. There are also different types and sizes of crabs to choose on the market, depending on the desire of a person who will prepare the recipe.
One of the best and popular recipes that I want to share you is the Spicy Crab in Pure Mango Nectar Sauce. Definitely, this will be a perfect choice for many crab lovers out there, regardless if there is a special occasion or just a simple gathering.
Here is the Procedure for the Spicy Crab in Pure Mango Juice:
- 1 kilo medium to large sized crabs (steamed and drained properly)
- 2 cans of mango juice (preferably pure mango nectar)
- 6 cloves of garlic (peeled and chopped finely)
- 1 medium sized white onion (peeled and chopped finely)
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- ½ cup of mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon of honey (optional)
- 1 teaspoon of chili powder
- 1 medium bell pepper (sliced horizontally)
- Salt and pepper to taste
In a preheated medium sauce pan, put the butter and sauté the onion and garlic for about 1-2 minutes before adding the bell pepper and let simmer for another 1 minute. Afterward, include the mango juice or pure nectar, honey, mayonnaise and mix slowly in medium heat to simmer for about 3-5 minutes.
Next is to add the chili powder, crabs, salt and pepper to complete the exact taste. Let simmer for about 5 minutes and the taste must be spicy, sweet and a little bit of saltiness.
When ready, transfer the dish in a serving platter and enjoy eating with rice or as an appetizer!
