Flavorful Pork BBQ on Stick

Pork BBQWhatever is the celebration is; we cannot deny that many Filipinos and foreigners love to eat delicious BBQ dishes. As expected, one of the most popular choices is the Flavorful Pork BBQ on Stick recipe and to make it perfect, the best part of the pork is the tenderloin or sirloin. There are actually different types of techniques and menus for this particular dish.

However, I want to teach you a simple way on how to make your BBQ dish perfect, flavorful and delectable to eat. If you are ready, I want you to continue reading below and learn the easiest way to enjoy grilling with your family.

Here is the Procedure for the Flavorful Pork BBQ on Stick Recipe:


  • 1 kilo tenderloin or sirloin (sliced for BBQ on stick)
  • ½  cup soy sauce
  • 2 cups BBQ marinate sauce (Del Monte or Mamasita)
  • 10 cloves of garlic (crushed and minced)
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon of ground pepper
  • 1 cup of Sprite or 7Up soda
  • Salt to taste


For grilling:

  • Prepare the griller and charcoal



In a medium-sized Tupperware, put the sliced pork, pepper, soy sauce, BBQ marinate sauce, sugar, garlic and salt, then mix well for about 1-2 minutes. Afterwards, add the Sprite or 7Up soda, mix properly and then cover the Tupperware and refrigerate overnight so that the meat absorbs the sauce better.

When ready, you can start inserting the sliced pork in the BBQ sticks and put at least 4-5 pieces on every stick. Remember to choose the right size of sticks and must be rounded.

To begin grilling, set the charcoal into medium fire in the griller and make sure the heat is balance. Place the BBQs on top of the griller and allow the meat to cook slowly without overcooking. Do not allow the fire to increase so that the tenderness and flavorful of the pork remain.

When everything is grilled, put the BBQs in a platter or serving plate and enjoy eating with your family.  You can actually choose ketchup or your own sauce if you desire as long as you appreciate the taste.
